For parents of junior golfers

Unlocking your child’s golfing potential, one swing at a time

Gear that fits, coaching that sticks, and the honest version of what a season of junior golf actually costs — from a parent who has made the mistakes already.

Everything here is written by a golf parent, not a golf professional. Two boys, a decade of junior golf, and a garage full of clubs that were the wrong length. Recommendations come from what has actually worked, and the reasoning is always shown so you can disagree with it.

Al, who writes Infinity Junior Golf, on a golf course

About me

I have made the mistakes so your family does not have to

I am Al. I taught high school maths and science, and I am now at home with two boys, 17 and 12, who have played junior golf for a decade between them. In that time we have bought the wrong clubs, entered the wrong tournaments and learned most things the expensive way.

That is what this site is: gear, coaching, competitions and the parenting side of the game, written from the parent’s seat rather than the professional’s. Where a recommendation rests on reviews rather than on our own experience, it says so.
